CHAGA with BLACK GARLIC, which is fully of Estonian origin, is a complex of antioxidant enzymes - one of the oldest, safest and most powerful mixtures of medicinal plants. The common combination of chaga and black garlic has a mutually supportive effect and as a result, it is better absorbed by the body. The product is a supporter of the immune system and boosts resistance, repels various pathogens and is an extremely strong antioxidant.

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus in Latin) is a fungal species that grows mainly on the bark of birch trees. The infertile nodular formation of chaga is called the birch sponge, but not to confuse chaga with another species of birch fungus, the species name of the birch polypore (Piptoporus betulinus). Instead, birch polypore has beige fruit bodies and is also found mainly on birch trees.

In Estonian traditional texts, chaga is known as a cancer herb. Chaga has been used by people to improve health for thousands of years. Conscious methods of studying the effects of the black swallow began a few hundred years ago. However, chaga has only been in the forefront of research for the past few decades. The first research on chaga was conducted in Estonia 155 years ago by Professor Johann Georg Noël Dragendorff, a researcher at the University of Tartu.

The product is entirely of Estonian origin. Chaga has been harvested from Estonian forests and garlic has been grown, fermented and dried in Estonia as well. The black garlic added to the Ecosh product is made from cleanly grown garlic. No plant protection products or artificial fertilizers have been used in the cultivation. Garlic is cooked for about 3 weeks at low temperature and high humidity. When ripe, the garlic cloves turn black into black, hence the name Black Garlic.

Research shows that the level of antioxidants in black garlic is up to 80 times higher than in raw garlic. Due to the low temperature, most of the positive properties of garlic are retained. Thus, black garlic is a good alternative for those for whom ordinary garlic is for some reason unacceptable or unsuitable.
