LAVENDER is a plant well known throughout the world and used for making different cosmetic products and as an alternative medicine for different problems. Lavender is a very useful plant that I recommend adding into your daily life, to get to know this plant and to practice using it for healing yourself.
Lavender in appearance is very beautiful and its aroma is also very nice and calming. Lavender was first grown in North-America, North-Africa, India<Mediterranean countries in Southern Europe. Lavender is not very petulant for its growing conditions and it withstands very high temperatures. Now, Lavender is even grown in Estonia.
Lavender's first name was "Lavendula" and it derives from the word "lavare", which means "to wash". Lavender has a very long history, it has been used by people for thousands of years for different reasons. Lavender oil is made from lavender flower spikes. Lavender is also dried and it's used for heating the home. Dried Lavender is brought to the house so that it would give its healing properties to the home environment.

It’s beneficial to use lavender oil for cleaning your home and crystals. Lavender releases stress energies that have become stuck in-home or crystals. Lavender is best to be used for crystals that bring along peace, balance, relieve stress and are related to improving mental well-being. Improving sleep quality
Lavender essential oil is one of the best oils for a relaxing sleep and is therefore useful for healing sleeping disorders. Lavender helps to improve sleep quality substantially. For that, add a few drops of essential oil on your pillowcase before going to bed. Lavender oil helps to fall asleep faster and helps to experience astral projection at night. It’s especially useful to burn essential oil in the bedroom before going to bed.
Promotes hair growth
Studies have shown that Lavender essential oil promotes hair growth, it’s useful to everyone who feels like their hair is not thick enough, who has problems with thinning hair or hair fall. Massage Lavender essential oil mixed with, for example, olive oil, on your scalp, let this mixture stay there for ten minutes and then wash your hair thoroughly. Repeat this procedure when you wash your hair next time.
In addition to promoting hair growth, this procedure helps to remove dandruff. When you have a problem like this, use Lavender essential oil to get rid of it.
Lavender essential oil has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps to effectively relieve pain. Works especially well with headaches. Mix essential oil with another carrier oil (coconut, etc) and massage on the area that hurts. After a while, you can start feeling the pain easing. Burn essential oil in an oil lamp so it could silence the pain in your body when you inhale it.
Lavender essential oil is a great healer of bacterial and fungus related problems. The lavender essential oil can fight with harmful bacteria and therefore has a cleansing effect. When you burn essential oil in an oil lamp, then it physically and spiritually helps to cleanse the air at home and remove pathogens. It’s very useful to burn it when someone at home is sick or to avoid getting sick.
Drop Lavender essential oil on freshly washed clothes and then dry them in a dryer. During that process, Lavender essential oil helps to cleanse the allergy-causing things from the clothes and leaves behind a nice aroma.
The second possibility is to put a few drops of Lavender essential oil to a spray bottle filled with water and use this to freshen up and clean textiles at home. Especially useful to use for cleansing mattresses to reduce dust mites. This process is especially useful for asthmatics.
When you have a dust allergy or you have allergic reactions that affect your respiratory system then it’s useful to burn Lavender essential oil in an oil lamp. This can remove allergy-causing bacteria from the air and reduce allergic reactions.
Lavender oil has an antibacterial effect and can be one of the most important methods of alternative therapy to getting rid of acne. When you wish to heal acne, then put carrier oil (almond oil) on a cotton pad and then put 1-2 drops of Lavender essential oil on it. Then clean acne with the cotton pad (avoid contact with eyes, nose and lips) and let this oil mixture stay on your skin. It’s especially useful to do it before going to bed and let Lavender do its healing work for the whole night.
Peppermint and Lavender mixture for acne
Peppermint essential oil works very well with acne-prone skin. It's especially good when you use it with Lavender. Mix together 2-3 drops of each essential oil with 1-2 teaspoons of carrier oil. Choose a carrier oil your face and skin prefers. Mix it together and apply it to acne-prone skin, avoid eyes, nose and lips. Keep it there for ten minutes and then rinse it off gently with warm water or cleanse it with a wet towel to remove the excessive oil. Repeat it daily until you see a result.
When you have problems with the skin on the heels, it’s cracked and broken, then Lavender essential oil may be the solution for it to make the skin glow again. For that, add a few drops of Lavender essential oil to a carrier oil, like jojoba, and massage this mixture to your heels, put on socks and allow Lavender to work its magic. Repeat it in a few days and after a few weeks, you may feel a bigger change in the texture of the skin.
USING LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL

The second possibility is to put essential oil into your skin, but that way you need to mix the essential oil with another oil (not with another essential oil, but with a carrier oil), olive, coconut, almond or jojoba oil. Essential oils could burn the skin, that’s why you need to use it mixed with another oil. Mixing essential oils with other oils means you can only use a few drops of it. In the oil, lamp put as much essential oil mixed with water as strong aroma you want to smell in the room.
You can put a few drops of Lavender essential oil onto your bedsheets to do healing therapy in your sleep. This is something I especially recommend in case of stress.
Do yourself a healing bath with Lavender essential oil. When you have a bath in your home, then fill it with water and put up to ten drops of essential oils into the water, and you can also add dried Lavender. Have a path and enjoy the effect of the Lavender essential oil. This kind of bath is useful both physically and spiritually.
